Rejuvenating Green Smoothie
Cold and flu season is in full force this Winter, so what better way to include tons of nutrients while hydrating your body? A green smoothie of course! This one not only includes fruit but some hidden veggies too. Most green smoothies never fill me up. So because this is winter, and we should be nourishing our bodies, I added some sun butter. If you’re unfamiliar with sun butter, it’s similar to nut butter but it’s nut-free! Sunflower seeds are packed with antioxidants, magnesium, and may promote healthy cholesterol levels.
If you’re like me and despise waking up early to make breakfast, you’re in luck. You can prep all of the fruit and veggies the night before and freeze them in a Stasher! Make sure to lay them out to give the frozen goods a bit of wiggle room (or else they stick together, not fun).

*Pro Tip* Make sure to use fresh pineapple in this one. The juice is crazy hydrating and contains tons of enzymes to get that digestive tract moving.
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen mangos
- 1/2 cup steamed then frozen cauliflower
- 1/2 cup fresh pineapple
- 1 cup fresh greens (I used a blend of kale + spinach)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1 Tbsp. milled flax + chia blend
- 1 Tbsp. sunflower seed butter
- 1 scoop collagen peptides
- dried coconut + hemp seeds (for topping)
- Steam, let chill and freeze cauliflower in a Stasher bag.
- Dice and store bananas and mangos in the freezer.
- Add all ingredients in a blender and blend.
- Top with dried coconut + hemp seeds.
