Homemade Hemp Milk
Hemp seeds are one of the staples that are always in my pantry. Why? Because they’re loaded with so many benefits! They’re rich in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, protein, minerals, and Vitamin E. They even have the ability to reduce PMS and menopause symptoms. WHAT?! Maybe I should’ve started with that because nourishing my Flo is always my focus. I will be making another post about living in my Flo and honoring my cycle, thanks to the goddess Alisa Vitti, so stay tuned for that! But now, back to hemp seeds.
- 3 cups filtered water
- 1/2 cup of hemp seeds
Combine filtered water + hemp seeds in a blender. Blend on high for about 2 minutes. Straining in a fine mesh strainer is optional (I did this step because I need a new blender, but if you have a Vitamix there is no need!) Feel free to flavor with cinnamon, vanilla, matcha, honey, or anything you can think of!
